Pet Peeves…warning. Blunt/border line mean post.

I discovered a few of my pet peeves over the course of last week.

1. “Cool story bro”. Wait. I don’t understand. Are we friends? We are right? So why would you basically tell me what I’m saying isn’t worth your time or is uninteresting/boring to you? Especially when you say it with a “laid back” attitude. That really completes the image. Cool story bro? Really? gtfo.

2. Freaking out over getting your picture taken. Like legit freaking out. Actually unless you never want to see any of the pictures I take, I’m really doing you a favor by carrying my camera around and taking pictures of -you-. I don’t need more than one picture of you for myself to remember you…so if I’m taking the time out of reality and people interactions to look through a view finder to take multiple pictures of you so YOU have documentation of YOUR life, the least you could do is ignore the camera and continue with life or smile. Not freak out on me. Maybe this is just my inner camera loving self speaking, but I really appreciate it when someone else brings their camera and takes pictures of me…so I don’t understand when others don’t appreciate my efforts as well.

3. Overly self-conscious. We’re all just trying to enjoy life. I understand that most of us are at least a little uncomfortable or unsatisfied with our bodies, but no one wants to hear someone complain about their body every minute of the day. It not only makes everyone else uncomfortable and aware of their own bodies, but no one likes self pity.

4. When people skinnier than me complain to me about their “massive” stomach. Seriously. stfu. Enough said.

The worlds cutest.
